About Us

The concept for Urban Warfare began in 2005, when Kenneth visited his sister at the Donnelly Homes in Trenton. They were disturbed by the presence of gangs, drug activity and violence in the neighborhood. Kenneth soon founded Urban Warfare to offer youth a safe environment, athletic skills, and career and vocational training.

Every Friday evening, up to 100 youth gathered at the Donnelly Homes Community Center where Kenny used recreational activities as a tool to teach students team-building and life skills. Urban Warfare currently promotes the core values of respect, service, honesty, loyalty, diversity, excellence, compliance, accountability, determination, and spiritual awareness.

In 2013, Mr. Williams was honored at the New Jersey State Governor’s Jefferson Awards for Public Service. Jefferson Awards honorees are selected by The Community Foundation of New Jersey, The Star-Ledger, and the Governor’s Advisory Council on Volunteerism.

Currently, Mr. Williams is offering additional programs for elementary and high school students focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. He is also developing the Soaring New Heights Aviation Program, to inspire youth to enter the field of aviation.

Urban Warfare, Inc. is 501c3 organization and is recognized as tax exempt by virtue of its charitable programs.
