Robotic Camp Participants Learning STEM and Life Skills

UWI Robotics Camp

UWI Robotics Camp began on March 2, 2024 with a total of eight students ages 9-14. Teacher Adam Kovitz has been leading students through a variety of activities and exercises that increase their knowledge of important STEM skills such as Mathematics and Robotics. Students are learning how to integrate complex concepts in engineering while enjoying hands-on material. This ten week program was developed under the vision of UWI CEO Kenny Williams to increase students’ interest in careers related to mechatronics, engineering and technology. Mr. Williams plans to run additional camps in the future and is currently developing an Aviation program with Pfizer pilot Jim Kelly. Stay tuned for more information about future programs!
